Hellion Wines is a company started June 2004 when I moved back to the UK from New Zealand. I worked for a specialist wine retailer in Queenstown for a few years and realised a) how much I really enjoyed New Zealand wine and b) how little of the exciting wines I liked were available in the UK. During my time in New Zealand I tasted a large selection of the wines produced there (tough job) and I’m very pleased to be able to import some of my favourites into the UK. All my wines are excellent quality and I try to have the wines retailing in the UK for as near as humanly possible to the retail prices in New Zealand. Just because a wine’s limited it doesn’t mean it has to be overpriced, it’s just harder to catch. I hope you enjoy the wines and have as much fun as I have discovering them.
