New wines and great reviews. Check out the new Koru Sauv Blanc and the latest Waipara Springs Sauv Blanc 2008 both of these have amazing reviews from Jamie Goode with 93 & 92pts.
Also landed is the multi award winning Mondillo Pinot Noir wearing gold from many shows. Only 20 cases are imported from this tiny vineyard.
Aurora Syrah is back in stock and tasting better than ever. Still receiving excellent reviews and impressing anyone who tries it.
Waipara Springs Premo Chardonnay 2006 is back and we have a little more Premo Pinot Noir 2006 to share around ( but not much).

New releases win huge accoldaes at the Sommelier Wine Awards in London this month. Judged by 44 of the top sommeliers, restauranteurs & wine consultants in the UK. These awards are a unique view on what the restaurant industry regards as the best wines on the market by those who have to list them, reccomend them and pour them on a daily basis. From all the wines entered. 200 made the shortlists. 100 made the gold list.12 were voted 'By the glass'.

May 17th 2007 Hellion Wines received certification as a Carbon Neutral company. This off sets all carbon emissions produced by Hellion Wines. This includes all wines imported from port of departure in New Zealand ( Auckland/Chc), distribution/haulage in the UK, all vehicles, office and air miles incurred. More information HERE.
